Host and Guest Agreement
This Host and Guest Agreement summarizes the mutual expectations between hosts and guests when using GoBaguio Hub. It should be read together with the Terms and Conditions, Cancellation and Refund Policy, and Host Agreement.
1. Formation of the Booking Agreement
When a guest confirms a booking and the host accepts it (or when the system confirms it on the host's behalf), a direct agreement is formed between the host and guest for the stay or service. GoBaguio Hub provides the platform but is not a party to this accommodation contract unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2. Guest Commitments
By booking, guests agree to:
- Provide accurate information during booking, including the number of guests and any special requirements.
- Pay the agreed amounts using the instructed payment channels and timelines.
- Respect house rules, neighbors, and property boundaries.
- Report issues promptly to the host so that reasonable steps can be taken to assist.
3. Host Commitments
By accepting bookings, hosts agree to:
- Provide the accommodation or service substantially as described in the listing.
- Ensure the property is reasonably clean, safe, and ready at the agreed check-in time.
- Communicate clearly with guests regarding check-in, rules, and relevant instructions.
- Handle complaints in good faith and seek fair solutions where appropriate.
4. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
Payments, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the applicable payment terms and Cancellation and Refund Policy, as well as any clearly stated host rules on the listing. Guests and hosts agree to follow those policies when changing or cancelling bookings.
5. Conduct During the Stay
Guests agree to use the property in a respectful and lawful manner. Hosts agree not to discriminate unlawfully and to respect guests' privacy, subject to safety and legal requirements. Both parties agree to avoid harassment, violence, or abusive behavior.
6. Damages and Security
Guests may be responsible for damages they or their visitors cause to the property beyond normal wear and tear. Hosts should document any significant damage and, where possible, first discuss the matter with the guest to seek a fair resolution, which may involve repair, replacement, or additional charges in line with applicable law and platform policies.
7. Disputes Between Host and Guest
If disagreements arise, hosts and guests should first try to resolve them directly through clear communication. If they cannot reach agreement, they may follow the steps in the Dispute Resolution Clause and seek assistance from GoBaguio Hub within a reasonable time.
8. Reference to Other Policies
This agreement works together with the relevant policies and pages on GoBaguio Hub, including the Terms and Conditions, Payment Terms, Cancellation and Refund Policy, Limitation of Liability, and Host Agreement. In case of conflict, mandatory legal rules and any specifically agreed written terms between host and guest will prevail.
